I was helping out in the children's ministry last night, Gigi, a little girl, probly around 3 years old, didn't want to come sit and listen to the story. So she went off playing quietly, I made my way over to her and asked her what she was doing. "ablocks" she replied as she pointed to the blocks spread across the floor. She stacked them, in odd patterns, i began stacking my own as she handed me more and more blocks, until we had a nice tower of about 10 blocks. She knocked them over and we laughed. after she knocked them over she started lining them up on a low window sill, noticing they had letters and images engraved on them she picked one up and asked "ahsat?" "that's an X" i replied. "ohh" she picked up another, and another, and another until she came across a cat "ahsat?" she asked again "a cat" i replied. She gave me a face that told me she was confused "a cap?" no, a cat" i paused, then continued "meow meow" She looked at me with the same face and replied "Kitty?" "Yeah! kitty!" she laughed "meow kitty!" then grabbed another block. "ahsat?" "that's an I" "eye?" she replied as she held it up to her eye and looked around.

Cute kid, i gotta tell ya.

AFTER all that, i was standing outside church with my dad, and Amy rushes in "Dude, i don't know why but- well, have you ever heard of the band Brand New?" Oh, she should know that i go pun crazy on those kinds of names "no.. are they brand new?" She chuckled, "well look, they have this brand new album out" a pause "not called Brand New... anyways, i think you'll love them!" "really?" "yeah, so i got the album and i was like 'oh man, i can't wait to give this to Ernie on sunday', so I've been like, waiting ALL week to give it to you" i replied with an "uhhuh" to let her catch her breath, she continued "Anyway, i forgot it..."

Volcano Burrito Adventures

I went out with TJ and Linds yesterday, headed out to taco bell. Tj hurt his arm in a snowboarding accident so it sits in a little sling now..

As we ate and talked, i turned to TJ and asked him: "TJ... are you able to defend yourself?" He looked at me with the most pitiful face and replied: "no.."

I proceeded to throw hot sauce packets at him.. he was able to deflect them with his other hand though.. sadly...

Later on.. we were in my back yard, just talking, and my mom comes out.

"Look mom, TJ can't defend himself!" I once again threw the hot sauces at him (don't ask me why i still had them..)

He went: "Hey! that's not cool..."

TJ is a funny guy, Lindsey... is just messy.

She couldn't keep her burrito from pooping all over her hand, nor could she keep her claw clean.

Yes.. she has a claw..

Sometimes i wonder what could make a simple trip to taco bell so eventful.. who knows?

The park

I went to the park with sam today, we were there alone until this little girl came. I was on the swings, sam was digging a hole, she came by and got on the swing next to me. She was cautious which is understandable considering i looked like a bum :P I asked her: "who do you think can swing higher? me or you?". She shrugged and looked at me "Idonno, prolly me because.. idonno". I laughed "lets find out".

She was a funny little girl, very talkative.

there she was, she was walking down the street..

And then sam was like: "Look... Darth Vader" as he pointed at me in my Darth Vader mask. Then She was all: "Awesome..." and sam was like "...."

So, we just stood on the street corner waving at people as they drove by, I was wearing a black coat, a black cape, blue jeans, and a Darth Vader mask. We got a couple people to honk, lots of people waved, and even more people did nothing, to distracted with their all important lives.

But, me and Sam are optimists, we look at all the people we made smile, and we know that we did a good job.

for the past few days me and Sam have been doing that, just to make people smile, sometimes I'll just stand on the fire hydrant doing the "Crane technique" from Karate Kid. The crane doesn't get as much of a reaction though... so we stick to Vader.

I was wearing short sleeves that day, thought it would be funny to see Vader in short sleeves..

Angst

Apparently it's my new nickname.. "Angst"... whatever, it has a nice ring to it, maybe it'd be my super hero name.

Jon gave it to me, he was calling me "Angst" by the end of the night, as was his wife.

my mom was complaining about my "Teen Angst" and so Jon wanted in on the drama... of course I couldn't share MY side of the story, considering my mother was right there.

All in all, a pretty alright Halloween.

When it comes down to it..

so, a few days ago my friend called me telling me to come to Disneyland with her and our mutual friend. I explained that I was grounded, but, I would try.

I asked my parents if they would let me go... of course, I would need to work as hard as I could to get a ton of homework done. Fine, I'll do it.

Obstacles I met along the way:

#1 the funeral.

Well, turns out my dad has to do something so we won't be going to the funeral. That means if I get a ton of homework done I can go. YAY!

#2. Getting a ride.

Well, Cor said her family could pick me up and give me a ride. So I can go! YAY!

#3. Mom.

Mom says "call your dad" (meaning to get the final word of whether or not I can go)

I call my dad, confident in the homework I've done.

"Hey, dad, I was wondering if I can go to Disneyland tonight, I've been working hard on my homework"

"well, I think it's a good idea for you to stay home that way you can help your mom because she's sick"

"... ok.."

"Sorry buddy"

OF COURSE!

Story of my life.

It wasn't the fact that I was grounded, it wasn't that I didn't do enough homework, it wasn't even because I couldn't get a ride, it was that I had to take care of my mom...

meanwhile I sit here while she bakes in the kitchen, I think she has the invisible flu...?

In other news, Google Chrome is AWESOME! then again... I think anything that lets you choose your own theme is awesome.. I have noticed that it is slightly faster to load pages.. or maybe it's just my imagination..?

So this Halloween, I'm goin for the 50's Greaser. I hate it that people have to say "Who are you?" me- "no one.." "but who are you?

We had the Fusion costume party on tuesday, brendon came as a "ghost"... wearing a sheet. Halfway through the night he got tired of it so I tied it into a cape.. then he was "Cape man".. er whatever.

Last Halloween was nice.. whatever that means, I ponder what this Halloween will be like, my uncle has his Girlfriend *cough cough* so Idonno if he'll show, The neighbors... we haven't really talked to them lately, my friends probly have plans, bleh, I wonder if my parents have planned anything.

I hate not knowing things!

I best be gettin some candy, if I don't, I'mma be mad.
